FESTIVERD – Venezuela

 

Festival Internacional de Cine y Video Verde de Venezuela abre su convocatoria para la XI edición a realizarse del 4 de diciembre hasta el 6 de diciembre de 2023. Podrán presentarse VIDEOARTES de cualquier latitud, en una única categoría, siempre y cuando versen sobre la temática AMBIENTAL.

 

Nuestra misión: en tiempos de pandemia (y pospandemia) buscamos, desde Venezuela, ofrecer una alternativa sobre concienciación ambiental y ecológica que apunte a miradas distintas al antropocentrismo y la tradicional división dual entre cultura y naturaleza. La exhibición online sobre narrativas audiovisuales verdes en formato cortometraje se interrelacionan con otras experiencias streaming, medias, transmedias y en redes sociales, generando un entramado de lazos virtuales que deseamos convertir en lazos de parentescos.

Bases y reglamento

 

  • La convocatoria abre el 20 de febrero de 2023 y cierra el 8 de septiembre de 2023.
  • La organización del festival estará bajo la responsabilidad de la FUNDACIÓN FAMICINE en alianzas con ONGs, emprendedores, instituciones educativas, entes gubernamentrales y comunidades.
  • La duración de las obras será de 8 minutos máximo (sin incluir los créditos iníciales y finales).
  • El formato aceptado para la exhibición es el soporte digital (archivos mp4, mpg,mov, avi).
  • Se aceptan VIDEOARTES en español o subtitulados en español (ya quemados o en formato .srt).
  • Se aceptan trabajos realizados entre 2020 y 2023 inclusive. Aplican excepciones de calidad y contenido para el año 2019.
  • El derecho de inscripción es gratuito.
  • Cada autor(a) puede inscribir una obra.
  • Quienes envíen el VIDEOARTE vía email deberán entregar link de descarga, fotograma en buena resolución, afiche oficial en caso de tenerlo, ficha técnica, sinopsis, tráiler (en caso de tenerlo), biofilmografía y una foto del director, redes sociales del videoarte y del director.
  • La inscripción en el festival implica la aceptación absoluta de este reglamento.
  • Mediante la inscripción de la obra se autoriza a la FUNDACIÓN FAMICINE (ente organizador del FESTIVERD) para su exhibición en el lapso correspondiente a la celebración del festival en la web festiverd.com
  • El director/la directora se responsabiliza de no afectar los derechos de autor de terceras personas y exime a los organizadores del FESTIVERD Venezuela de cualquier responsabilidad legal.
  • Los/las responsables postulantes del videoarte se hacen completo cargo de los derechos de propiedad intelectual y de autor. Declaran ante los organizadores de FESTIVERD Venezuela que son los únicos/as responsables ante cualquier tipo de reclamo o demanda concerniente al material presentado, y que expresamente acuerdan indemnizar a la FUNDACIÓN FAMICINE ante cualquier tipo de reclamo o demanda, incluyendo reclamos de derechos de copyright y/o demás derechos, gastos por abogados, y otras costos generados por dichas circunstancias.

CALL FOR ENTRIES 2023

FESTIVERD – Venezuela

 

International Green Film and Video Festival of Venezuela opens its call for the XI edition to be held from December 4 to December 6, 2023. VIDEOARTS from any latitude may be presented, in a single category, as long as they are on the ENVIRONMENTAL theme.

Our mission: in times of pandemic (and post-pandemic) we seek, from Venezuela, to offer an alternative on environmental and ecological awareness that aims at different views to anthropocentrism and the traditional dual division between culture and nature. The online exhibition of green audiovisual narratives in short film format is interrelated with other streaming, media, transmedia and social network experiences, generating a web of virtual ties that we wish to turn into bonds of kinship.

 

Terms and regulations

 

  • The call opens on February 20, 2023 and closes on September 8, 2023.
  • The organization of the festival will be under the responsibility of the FAMICINE FOUNDATION in alliances with NGOs, entrepreneurs, educational institutions, government entities and communities.
  • The duration of the works will be 10 minutes maximum (not including the initial and final credits).
  • The format accepted for the exhibition is the digital support (mp4, mpg, mov, avi files).
  • VIDEO ART are accepted in Spanish or subtitled in Spanish (already burned or in .srt format).
  • Works carried out between 2020 and 2023 inclusive are accepted. Quality and content exceptions apply for the year 2019.
  • The registration fee is free.
  • Each author can register a work.
  • Those who send the VIDEO ART via email must provide a download link, a good resolution frame, official poster if they have it, technical sheet, synopsis, trailer (if they have it), biofilmography and a photo of the director, social networks of the videoarte and from the director.
  • The registration in the festival implies the absolute acceptance of these regulations.
  • By registering the work, the FAMICINE FOUNDATION (organizing entity of FESTIVERD) is authorized for its exhibition in the period corresponding to the celebration of the festival on the website festiverd.com
  • The director is responsible for not affecting the copyrights of third parties and exempts the organizers of FESTIVERD Venezuela from any legal responsibility.
  • The applicants responsible for the video art take full charge of the copyright and intellectual property rights. They declare before the organizers of FESTIVERD Venezuela that they are solely responsible for any type of claim or demand concerning the material presented, and that they expressly agree to indemnify FUNDACIÓN FAMICINE for any type of claim or demand, including claims of copyright and / or other rights, legal expenses, and other costs generated by said circumstances.
